Sharing Best Practice for a Sustainable Future


ICE’s Transport Asset Management conference is an excellent forum for members and non-members alike to get an update on current trends and to exchange information and ideas. The programme will enable delegates to get up to speed on the key issues affecting the profession and latest thinking and innovative applications to tackle these issues, with presentations from a range of practitioners in the public and private sectors.

Delegates have the opportunity to tailor their conference experience by choosing from two streams:


The roads stream will explore innovative approaches for improving performance and maximising the asset value using cost-effective methods. Delegates will hear an updates from UK Roads Liaison Group (UKRLG) and Highways England, learn from their peers and share experiences during the Q&A sessions.

Key sessions include:

  • Launch of the new UKRLG Code Of Practice

  • Highways England’s asset-led delivery model

  • Mobile mapping technology for highways asset management

  • Improving network resilience through asset management


A unique opportunity for asset owners, managers and train operating companies to come together and discuss common solutions to problems and share lessons learnt. Delegates will strengthen their knowledge and hear best practice case studies from experts at the forefront of improving our rail infrastructure.

Key sessions include:

  • The latest asset management developments for railways

  • Digitising asset management in Network Rail

  • Keeping the nation moving – making UK’s railways more resilient
